Does it have handprint and footprint pages?
Yes: a dedicated handprints page and a footprints page in the Welcome to the World chapter (pages 32 and 33), right after your birth story. An ink kit is not included; any inkless baby stamp pad works.
How many photos fit, and how do I attach them?
61 photo spaces across 122 pages, with no fixed frames or plastic sleeves: 4x4 and 4x6 prints fit everywhere, up to 6x6 in some spots. Attach with tape, glue dots or any paper glue; the thick 160 gsm acid-free pages hold them well.
What are the exact dimensions?
9.25 x 8.5 inches, about 1.25 inches thick, 2.7 lb. It opens fully flat thanks to the hidden gold coil and ships inside a matching keepsake box.
Which ages does it cover? Is it mostly the first year?
Family, pregnancy and birth: pages 5 to 36. Then baby's first year month by month, two pages per month (pages 42 to 63), then four pages for each birthday from 1 to 5 (pages 64 to 83). Milestones, first holidays, first foods, a teeth chart and a growth chart have their own chapter (pages 85 to 112).
What are the prompts like? Can I skip pages?
Short guided prompts you can answer in five minutes. Every page is optional: skip what doesn't fit and use the space for photos or notes. Nine free Our Unique Moments pages at the end catch everything else.
Does it work for every family?
Yes. The prompts are worded for any parent, so they work just as well for a mom and dad, a single parent, two moms or two dads, or an adoptive family. The cover is gender neutral, for a boy or a girl.
Can I use one book for two children or twins?
One book per child, so each child's story stays complete. For siblings, the same book in a different color keeps the two easy to tell apart.
Will ink bleed through? Is it gift-ready?
