Refund policy
Our "Cherished Guarantee" At Cheriboo, we want you to be absolutely in love with your keepsake book. We understand that sometimes things change, or a product might not be the perfect fit. Here is our policy on returns and refunds.
1. Return Window We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase was delivered, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
2. Eligibility for Returns To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it:

Unused and Unmarked: This is vital. Books that have been written in, have photos attached, stickers applied, or show any signs of use cannot be returned under any circumstances.

Original Packaging: The book must be returned in its original rigid keepsake box and protective packaging to ensure it arrives back to us safely.

Proof of Purchase: You’ll need the receipt or order number.
3. Damages and Issues (Please Inspect Upon Arrival) We use premium logistics partners (Amazon Fulfillment) to ensure fast and safe delivery. However, accidents happen. Please inspect your order immediately upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately at hello@cheriboo.comwith a photo of the damage. We will make it right by sending a replacement free of charge.

If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package.

Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for non-defective items (e.g., changed mind on color). We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
5. Refunds We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If the book is in pristine, unused condition, your refund will be approved.

You will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
6. Exceptions / Non-returnable items

Gift cards are non-refundable.

Personalized items (if applicable in the future) cannot be returned.
7. Gift Returns If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received and inspected, a digital gift card will be emailed to you.
