Start here

Four things that make the first page easy.

Start with page 1. Write the name and the date you opened the box. The family tree on page 8 and your love story come next; every page after that is optional.
Print a few photos. 4x4 and 4x6 prints fit every photo space; some spots take up to 6x6. Tape, glue dots or any paper glue work; the thick pages hold them.
Five minutes at a time. Short prompts, answered in the hallway. Skip what doesn't fit and use the space for photos or notes.
Keep it in its box. The rigid keepsake box, the acid-free paper and the archival pocket are there so it reads the same in twenty years.

Does it have handprint and footprint pages?

Yes: a dedicated handprints page and a footprints page in the Welcome to the World chapter (pages 32 and 33), right after your birth story. An ink kit is not included; any inkless baby stamp pad works.

How many photos fit, and how do I attach them?

61 photo spaces across 122 pages, with no fixed frames or plastic sleeves: 4x4 and 4x6 prints fit everywhere, up to 6x6 in some spots. Attach with tape, glue dots or any paper glue; the thick 160 gsm acid-free pages hold them well.

Will ink bleed through?

The 160 gsm acid-free pages keep pens from showing through. Any pen works; archival ink lasts longest.
